About This Cash Mob:

So, here's what we do: - Show up with at least $15 in cash (more is fine if you choose, of course) - Buy stuff (they have B&B coffee, gallery art and gifts from local artists, delicious bakery items, and a hot brunch if you want to stay and eat!) - Meet new people and support a local business! Couldn't be easier, really. But in addition to going, spreading the word is really important. Please share this event on Facebook and tell all your friends and family in the ATL area! And please tweet about the event as well, if you have a twitter account. It takes the power of everyone to make a successful Cash Mob. Help us get the word out to as many people as possible. Spreading the word via social media and rallying friends, neighbors and community members together is what it takes to make a cash mob successful and what helps give our locally owned businesses an economic boost!

The cash mob will be meeting at 720 Moreland Ave SE, Atlanta, GA.

What type of business is being mobbed?

Hodgepodge Coffeehouse and Gallery

Why is this business worthy of a cash mob?

Hodgepodge is a locally-owned business that constantly gives back to the community by hosting public events and providing a great meeting space and hangout for people of all ages. Recently they were broken into, and their safe was stolen with their rent and equipment money inside. They need and deserve our help.

What makes this business unique?

Hodgepodge is an independently owned and operated coffeehouse serving a full espresso menu using Batdorf and Bronson Certified Organic, Shade Grown, Fair Trade Certified and Bird Friendly coffee as well as Mighty Leaf teas. Biscuits, scones and cupcakes are made in house daily. They also serve sandwiches, Jamaican patties, and other snacks each day. Hodgepodge is family friendly and devoted to being community focused and environmentally conscious. They strive to be a unique yet affordable gallery space for local artists to display works of art from all mediums, as well as cultivating a creative haven of discussion and collaboration.
