About This Cash Mob:

Please join us for our 2nd Monthly Cash Mob event on Sunday, February 24th at 1:30pm when we will mob our 2nd independently owned Putnam County merchant in Kent, NY. Park your cars in front of Johnny Gelato, 1110 Route 52 in Kent, NY, (across the street from Kent Elementary School). Grab a cup of coffee at Dot & Joe's Deli while you're waiting for the rest of the Mob to arrive. At 2:00pm we will all mob Johnny Gelato. John wants us to come and taste every flavor of his homemade gelato, including his zany flavors: Red Velvet, Maple Bacon, Jalapeno Lime, Mud Pie, Olive Oil, & Sea Salt Caramel. We'll be giving Johnny Gelato an immediate economic stimulus (which he could really use in the dead of winter), we'll get delicious gelato to bring home to our families, meet new friends, & have a great time knowing that we are doing good things for the community. WHAT TO BRING: $10-$20 cash, your family, a friend, and a hunger for the best gelato in New York. We had 30 mobbers attend our first Mob Event at Frasier Brothers Hardware in Mahopac and hope to top that number at this event. Tell your friends to like us and confirm their attendance to this event.

The cash mob will be meeting at 1110 Route 52 (across from Kent Elementary School).

More Information

What type of business is being mobbed?

Independently owned Gelato Shop

Why is this business worthy of a cash mob?

John Mallegol and his daughter Meagen have been involved throughout the years in numerous charity functions throughout Putnam County. This locally owned and operated business is worth the trip to visit. It is one of Putnam County's hidden gems in Kent, NY. We are hoping to get the word out to the rest of Putnam County that it would be well worth the trip to try their gelato. (Especially in the dead of winter)
